Here's what some of our clients have to say about us.

I just finished Shannon’s Yoga class.  I feel strong, healthy and refreshed.  She taught the class in a fun way with much attention to each person’s needs and levels.  I will definitely recommend it to others and I’ll be back!

Thank you so much.  This place is so amazing and PEACEFUL.  I love it!

Taking Antoinette’s class was so positive and invigorating!  I do a lot of Yoga but taking her class showed me how to work out muscle groups in a totally new way.  I was nice and sore and happy the next day.  I’m going for twice a week workouts to really feel healthy, energetic and strong!

ABOUT PILATES

Pilates is a wonderful form of exercise developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th Century.  The method is used to train the muscles to work with the mind.  Focusing on developing core strength and long lean muscles, teaching awareness of breath and spinal alignment.

ABOUT YOGA

The word Yoga means “to join or yoke together,” and it brings the body and mind together into one harmonious experience.

The whole system of Yoga is built on three main structures: exercise, breathing, and meditation. The exercises of Yoga are designed to put pressure on the glandular systems of the body, thereby increasing its efficiency and total health.   Breathing techniques are based on the concept that breath is the source of life in the body. The Yoga student gently increases breath control to improve the health and function of both body and mind. These two systems of exercise and breathing then prepare the body and mind for meditation, and the student finds an easy approach to a quiet mind that allows silence and healing from everyday stress. Regular daily practice of all three parts of this structure of Yoga produce a clear, bright mind and a strong, capable body. -The American Yoga Association
